Due to heavy weather Saturday evening (25 Jan), my DSL-line was out of order. A technician came to my home yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon, but the fault was on Telkom's side (exchange). The service is now restored, but the internet speed dropped from 6.77 Mbs to less than 2 Mbs. I've made at least three calls to the Call Centre to inform them that my speed has dropped substantially. Every time I am told, they cannot do anything. I must just wait. I will pick up again.
This is however unacceptable service. Telkom must see to it that the internet speed (I actually pay for 10 Mps), should be restored to a reasonable speed.
