Telkom 2 months later and still no line

I applies for a new service with Telkom, and adsl line that is being promoted by means of adds in the media and on their website. I made my first inquiry in November as I was in the process to move to a new city and wanted to get the installation done as soon as I moved in. I had no feedback initially from my website request. After 2 more failed telephonic attempts I went to a telkom store in the local mall where I was helped promptly and professionally. I asked the sales person when I can expect installation and she said 2 weeks at most. In the beginning of January a technician came out and assessed that the pole needs to be cleared of tree branches and that he will arrange for it to happen, a week later nothing happened yet and I called to find out what the holdup was. I had no joy on the phone and when I asked to speak to a supervisor I was promptly cut off. The following day a different technician came to my house and assessed that the pole needs to be cleared of tree branches. I again phoned the call-center and was told by the person on the other side of the line that I had to clear the pole (It isn't even on my property). It is now 3 weeks later and still no line... Hoping
