I have a contract with MTN which was signed on 3rd January 2014. I ported from Cell C to MTN, from the 8th of January 2014 the divice kept on saying "Not registered to to the netwrork" Even this morning i experienced the same problem. I email MTN and this is the respond i received.
"A query was logged regarding to the technical help desk for assistance with the network problem you experiencing. The technical department advised that you need to process a sim swap in order to have your problem resolved. Please visit your nearest MTN store with your ID and proof of residence to process a sim swap. Please note that there will be a once off fee of R136.00."
My rights are being violeted, i am not the one on fault here as i did not misplace the simcard, and i'm failing to understand why do i have to pay, while the fault is on the service provider's side? MTN's service is very poor and i'm very dissapointed that i am stuck with the for two years.
Hello Peter i will appreciate if you can come to my rescue from this bad service.
