Account handed to credit bureau with NIL balance

I opened a prepaid Telkom line for my grandma. When she passed away i went to Telkom office to have it terminated. They advised that i need to call the call centre to do so. I did & after holding for almost an hour someone answered & the termination was done. After a couple of months my brother advised me that the line is still ringing. Went back to the Telkom office in Cresta Mall & was advised to call the call centre AGAIN, did so & again after waiting for an hour the lady on the line advised that its cancelled. Recently i did a loan application & it was turned down as i was advised theres a Telkom account handed to the credit bureau. To my surprise i didnt know anything about any outstanding balance on the prepaid line i cancelled & was not even advised by Telkom of any balance. When i called Experin/debt collector they advised that the balance appears as settled/NIL from their side even thought the account was handed to them so they will investigate further which could take to 20 days of delaying my application due to incompetence from Telkom. I want my name cleared immediately or if there is any balnace to be settled, to be advised on it but remove/write an apology letter.
