I have sent many requests to the customer service department regarding the issue raised previously REQ:3090283.
I got an automatic email from them stating that they will attend to my query. After 3 follow up emails i am still waiting.
The response here from Hello Peter site was that the matter has been referred to the regional office (from what i see this is also a generic response). I had already contacted the operations manager who has not managed to assist me with billing. I am expected to pay almost R 900 this month for a phone that i did not have in my possession. The contract started on the 3rd of December the phone was returned on 9th (within 7 days) from the 9th of Dec i had no phone, yet they expect me to pay for this... taking note that to date i still do not have a phone!
When i asked to cancel the contract due to MTNs inability to provide me with a device i was told by the operations manager (Reshma) that i will need to pay a cancellation fee as well as USE OF THE DEVICE. This is absolutely crazy that they expect me to pay for use of a device that i did not use. Her response is that even if i do not use it, the device will be assigned to me when it is available!!
