Hi, I hope you can help, I am very frustrated with Vodacom. I had a contract with Vodacom which expired in November 2013. I have phoned them in May 2013 to advise that we will be leaving the country and I am giving notice that my contract will not be renewed. I called them in November to make sure that the contract was cancelled and they told me I still had to pay for an extra month. I received an email from Vodacom (never has a name of the person who corresponds with you...) on 10 Dec 2013 saying that my contract was renewed in a store and I am aware of it?? I emailed back asking how did that happen and receive a reply on 11 Dec Hi Anna,
I'll escalate this matter to forensics beacuse clearly it was a upgrade... they'll be communicating with you regarding this."
This was the last correspondence 3 weeks ago. Then an amount of R495.60 was deducted from my account on 31 December! I made 3 international phone calls to Vodacom, some as long as 30 minutes and I am paying for it, but they never contact me back. I am waiting for an investigation but how long does this take them? When I phone I always have to explain the same story to 3 or 4 different people and no one can help!
