This is the 3rd complaint I have submitted about telkom in a space of two months, and the last one was related to the unfair billing, and now it is about the techincal service relating to my line under the same telephone number, which is nothing short of incompetence and laziness.
After logging a fault a week after my line was installed in October, a technical guy came and said that the line connecting my apartment and the main Telkom box of the whole flat must be damaged, and that I need to find someone privately to repair or install a new one as it was not telkom's responsibility. After escalating the fault, a few weeks later another technical guy came and arrived to the same conclusion. Yesterday I got a private person to come install this line, but the guy found no fault in my line. It was working perfectly.
It costed me a lot of money to get this private person only to find no fault in the line. After calling Telkom yesterday, I was told I have to wait for a new line connection which will take weeks. IT HAS BEEN 3 MONTHS ALREADY WITH NO SERVICE!!!
