I applied for the Telkom Simple Smart TV Bundle on Monday the 16th of December. I was told that because I already have an adsl line it would simply be upgraded to the relevant internet package.2 days later I received a sms confirming the activation but when I got home the internet was off. After spending about 45 min on the phone to Telkom Internet today, it was eventually re-activated. I also received a free Internet 3G starter pack with this bundle. After numerous attempts to get it working I eventually phoned the help line, only to be told that the sim card was never Rica'd. This, after all the relevant documentation was handed in at the Tygervalley Branch. After getting the store's number from the Telkom Directory Service, which is 021 914-2200, I tried calling the number but there is just no answer. Does this mean that I will have to now get in my car and drive all the way to the store again, to have it rectified and was the application for the tv actually submitted or is that also going to be a problem.
