I signed up 6 weeks ago for an upgrade contract Anytime 350. Data included is supposed to be 350MB R150MB, i.o.w. 500MB per month. I received a 150MB "bolt on" on 2 Nov and that was it. I have been querying since last week Monday why I have not received all the data, plus the new months' data, with the MTN SP shop, each time they promise to fix and call me back but nothing happens, no fix and no call back (Watson and Samantha). I have phoned the 808 call centre on Friday morning at 9am, where I was informed that the contract was captured incorrectly and that it would be fixed within the hour. Guess what it has not happened. I phoned again this morning and was informed that these things "take time" to fix, which could be a few more days, which does not make sense to me. As I am typing this I have received an SMS that my data bundle has been loaded. I checked and it contains 250MB balance. As I had 40MB left, this means they have loaded something like 210MB, which is not the correct amount. I am not happy with this kind of service, maybe it is time to switch, as MTN is not keeping up their side of the contract.
