I decided to open up a contract with Altech since MTN refused to allow me to extend my contract as they require me to be on prepaid for three months before this could happen. Althech was told about this and reassured me that they do not have a similar policy. Paper work was done and I received my phone the following day and all paperwork was signed. One week later I poped in to check why my contract had not been activated (I was told it would take three working days for this to become active). The manager was rude, arrogant and clueless and demanded the phone back as they had been a mistake on their part but she could not explain why this had happend. I am so shcoked at the service I received, there was no apology or explaination and I had no option but to return a phone I had bought as a gift for my brother! This is the second incident I have had with ths particular branch and its disappointing to say the least!
