I got an iPad on the MTN contract at I-store in November 2011. I chose the package where I would pay R389 each month. Every moth I didn't finish the data and I would forfeit it. I didn't have a problem with that because this was explained to me when I got the iPad. For the past year nd a half I have been paying the R389 each month.

Suddenly when there was 5months left before the contract expired, I got a bill of R2000 in July. When I enquired I was made to hold on the line for about 20min at a time. This money was deducted from my bank account. In August R1700 was deducted and again I was sent from pillar to post. In September R2500 was deducted from my account. This is when I went to the bank to reverse this transaction. In October R3000 was deducted from my account.

I have not used the MTN micro sim in all those months but I'm but I'm billed ridiculous amounts

I am really fed up with MTN right now. My contract has expired, I called MTN to stop deducting money from my account but again I am made to hold on the line for hours.

If I don't get my money back, I will start legal action against MTN. Just yesterday R1700 was deducted from my account but my contract has expired!
