I went to Telkom Kolonnade on Sunday 27 January at around 12:00 to port my number from Vodacom to the 8ta network. Got friendly service and was assured that it would take a maximum of 72 hours to change networks. I only received my port pin at 11:19 today, Thursday 31 January, giving you a total of about 95 hours later, and then I was advised that the process will take an additional 24-48 working hours (what the working hours mean I have no clue, is that clock hours or telkom office hours???) Nice way to start a relationship with a new client...
