I GOT A CALL FROM A SHANIECE FROM ELITE MOBILE WHO SOLD ME A 24 MONTH INTERNET CONNECTION DEVICE WITH SIM THAT CAME WITH AN ALLEGEDLY FREE VIVA LIFE INSURANCE FOR R5000 FOR THE FIRST 6 MONTHS OF THE CONTRACT.
I RECEIVED THE DEVICE AND SIM ON THE 20.11.2013. SO FAR I HAVE A SIM THATS NOT WORKING AT ALL AND WHEN I PHONED THEM THEY SAID THEY WOULD SEND THROUGH AN URGENT REQUEST TO VODACOM TO OPEN THE LINE.
THAN I RECEIVED AN SMS SAYING THEY HAVE RECEIVED MY CANCELLATION??? I PHONED THEM AND WAS TOLD THAT MY VIVA LIFE INSURANCE HAS BEEN CANCELLED AND THAT I WOULD HAVE TO CONTACT VIVA MYSELF TO GET IT UNDONE. I DID PHONE VIVA BUT AFTER WAITING 15 MINS FOR SOMEONE TO ANSWER I GAVE UP! AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED THEY HAVE BROKEN THEIR CONTRACT WITH ME AND COST ME MONEY MAKING PHONE CALLS ALL OVER THE PLACE BECAUSE THEY CANNOT GIVE ME MY ACCOUNT NUMBER AND NEITHER CAN THE NUMBER I PHONED THAT THEY GAVE ME. APPARENTLY I DONT EXIST? IM STARTING TO WONDER IF THIS IS ALL A . I DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT THE CELL NUMBER ON THE SIM IS AND EVEN VODACOM CANT HELP ME! GETTING VERY FRUSTRATED. I WANT TO JUST CANCEL THIS WHOLE DEAL AS I AM STILL WITHIN MY 14 DAYS TO SEND THE DEVICE AND SIM BACK.
