Nashua Mobile
Appalling service

Around April I took out a cell phone contract with Nashua Mobile. I then decided to prematurely terminate the contract in June. I called the call centre and spoke to agents Bulelani Keswa and Stephanie Elhers. I requested that they guide me through the cancellation process and advise of all payable penalty fees.
An agreement was reached between the agents and myself on both recorded line and on email. I was told that I needed to pay an amount of R1, 824.00 inorder for the 24 month contract to be cancelled and migrated to prepaid. To my surprise on the 21/07/2013 an amount of R2, 029.00 was debited from my account and I reversed the payment, as to my knowledge I had no active contract with Nashua any more. After reversing the payment I started getting smses from the company that my account was overdue and that my line would be suspended if payment was not made.
I initially ignored the smses as I thought it was a system error, however the smses continued and I then decided to write an email to Bulelani, Stephanie and Tshepo advising them to stop the smses. No one responded to me and to my suprise I was told today (27/11/2013) that my account has been handed over to the legal department
