I had purchased 3gigs of Cell C data through my FNB online account on the 17/10/13, at a cost of R400. My understanding was it would be valid for 1 year as this is what I was informed at a Cell C store. I had previously bought 3gigs of data which is valid for a year from the store but was informed by an agent at the store I could do the same through my FNB account as well.

Happy that there was a more convenient way to purchase this I went ahead only to find out that about 1.8gigs remaining as my balance was deleted on the 19/11. Shocked by this I phoned the call centre only to be informed that the 3gigs data purchased through FNB is only valid for one month. Apparently it is valid for a year if purchased from a cell c store or cell c online. This shocked me as the agent at the Cell C store never mentioned this nor is it clear in any communication. I find this terribly unfair as it is misleading to the public. Shame on you Cell C. This is good as. Please train your staff better. I would like my money or data back.
