It's not possible (obviously) to have such a charge on a topup contract. After over two weeks of pursuing this via the Bayside branch (which appears to have done all they could do) and the "customer services" division of the Altech Autopage head office (this issue has reference A1311133102), I have had absolutely no feedback re the resolution of this problem.
It's unacceptable to wait almost 3 weeks to have this resolved.
Earlier this year I struggled and eventually succeeded in getting Altech Autopage to reverse what was data charges incorrectly billed to one of my contracts.
I am considering moving all six of my contracts to another service provider.
