Over promise and struggle to cancel

I spoke with Stefan for over one hour on the 22nd October 2013 as I cancelled Afrihost and wanting to move to another ISPs. I was considering to move to a capped account with unshaped download at night with Cybersmart but Stefan somehow convinced me to stay with MWeb for 2mbps uncapped premium account. I explained to him that I will be using the line for business during the day and at night for personal and download use. He said and mentioned with his experience, the 2mbps line should suffice for up to 300-400gb per month.

On 14th November 2013, I am on 140gb and my line has been throttled and shaped. The worst part is that the entire line speed (not limited to P2P services) have been reduced to 25% capacity. It severely affected my day to day business operation and it was never mentioned to me because it was not suppose to happen. Had his manager called (Aiyisha) me and told me there is nothing she can do and I had to log cancellation with Stefan and pay penalty. not very helpful but e-mailed Stefan to log the request. It is 4th day including weekend and no one contacted me and Stefan said there is no direct number to reach them except E-mail. not willing to give me the details.
