Well done on the exceptionally poor service

I would like to commend Afrihost on their exceptionally poor service, well done guys. You really have out done yourselves when it comes to no service delivery.

But I digress, let me get to the actual problem. I had the severe displeasure of having an "uncapped" 4 meg bundle which has been giving me poor performance for the last few weeks so I constantly have to switch to capped accounts. As such the current usage on said "uncapped" is 8.350GB. How on earth can you justify charging R 397.00 a month for 8GB usage. My average monthly usage is only about 40GB so in essence I'm paying double what a capped account would cost with no extra benefit, just the agony of dealing with Afrihost.

Every single time I phone customer support I end up giving up on holding after about 10 minutes. Today I finally get through just to get told that I used to much so sorry but "We can't do anything about it". So Afrihost as service provider, the one who actually does the throttling, can't undo what that did? Well done.

I urge anyone who gets to read this to stay away from Afrihost and rather seek a service provider who at least has the gall to come right out and say "Here we are, no ".
