Mislead about Billing

Good Day,

I have taken a contract with 8ta at Cresta on the 27/10/2013, the deal is R369 for a S4. I received my bill for R654. The store associate did not inform me about any full amount fee of the device, he just mentioned a small pro-rata fee which he could not explain.

I had calculated a rough estimate of the R369 over the 5days in October, tgo which he agreed.

I called the Customer Care Call centre numerous times and nobody could assist and they directed me back to the store, the store just called the call centre and said they have logged a query.

Today I spoke to Thulani Moekena at the Customer Care and he was very flippent, laughing, unprofessional, and incompetant. I had to explain numerous times the issue and instead of resolving the matter he contiuned to provoke me by stating that I am liable for the device fee.

Had I been informed at the store about that amount of R270 NOT being pro-rated, I would of not accepted the contract and waited to take the contract on the 1st of November.

I can not get through to the store in Cresta and when I visited on the weekend the Store Manager was not in the store, nor could they provide a contact number for him.
