I had long postponed my plan of subscribing to Telkom's Residential Internet service.
This fear born of a nasty experience with their customer service a few years ago.
On Saturday 2 November 2013 I walked into their Telkom Direct Store. C/o Sauer & Main Streets JHB.
I was greeted By Maureen Mabilo.
To my pleasant surprise she knew their products and services, was able to advise on the best product to choose.
Within an hour I was signed up, had my free Wireless router, 3G Dongle and was able to pay my account right there on the spot.
Thanks Maureen, I wished we had more people like yourself in these key positions.
People of colour like myself can be competent!
