In April/May 2013 I downgraded from Adsl to prepaid topup with Telkom. They said I will pay R158 pm since I choose a debit order option. The prepaid only worked for less than a month in June, then my line shut down. I reported it on 30 June 2013 at the NLS Riverside walk in centre. I was also given the telkom sms line to report. I kept on sending smses and goin to the cntr up to September 2013. Only last month did they call to acknowledge the fault. It has not been fixed as I write this complaint. I then resolved to terminate the service with them due to poor service. The I requested a refund due to lack of delivery on thier side. On two occassions btw late Sept and Oct I went to to Nelspruit to query my refund, they referred me to their call cnrt which handles accounts. They refuse to pay me on the basis that they cannot see my fault reporting. I have up to R800 plus credit on the line that is completely off and was never infored the reason for thier failure to repair the line. They say I only have a credit of R5 after they deduct the cancellation fees and downgrade charges of which I was never informed or adviced of at the time of initial process.
