I have a anytime 500 contract with Nashua, on the MTN network. MTN gives you free loyalty points which you can convert into free SMS's for use between MTN numbers. I have converted some of these" loyalty points" to free SMS's some three months ago (200 sms's).
What happens currently is that my free SMS's from my contract are used first (which I agree), but when they are used up, it uses my airtime for SMS's and not the free loyalty SMS's that I converted.
I currently have 200 free loyalty SMS's which are not utilised or subtracted on the MTN network.
Although my contract is with Nashua, this is a network fault from MTN and I have been with Nashua on several occasions to get the problem resolved without success. I have also tried to contact MTN directly, but they will not assist me because my contract is with Nashua. The last time I was at Nashua to discuss this issue was 16 October 2013 and have not heard from them ever since.
I am of the opinion that nobody wants to take responsibility for this problem and assist to resolve this.
