I've been a loyal customer to Autopage since 2002.
I pay by means of an EFT-payment on the 25th of each month.
Yet, Altech Autopage disconnect my phone on the 20th of each month due to "late payment". Each month I phone their call centre requesting that it should be noted that I pay on the 25th. To no avail. With each disconnection a fee of R49 is charged and I am without coverage for 5 days.
Each time the very useless call centre operator tells me that if I sign a debit order, I will not have this problem. It is within my rights to decide how I pay my phone bill, and my preferred method is EFT. I pay Autopage religiously within a 30 day period - why are you disconnecting my line (after numerous request not to do so) and why are trying to force me to sign a debit order?
Surely, this is not the way a paying customer should be treated that has been with Autopage since 2002?
