Telkom's E mail has been down since at least 06h00 this morning (Friday 18th). I reported it and selected E mail as the faulty service - the biggest joke is that they state that they will send you a ref number via your E mail. I dialed the fault number at about 12h00 - there was a recorded message stating that the problem was country wide. Called again at about 14h30 - I got through to an operator this time, who told me that they were working on it. I asked him why the recorded message had been removed and was told that they had restored some of the services. I really think that Telkom need to look at their staffs fault finding ability and perhaps rehire some of the highly qualified staff that they retrenched a few years back.
