My Cell C contract finally expired a week ago after what seemed to be forever. This past week has been bliss without the constant torture from Cell C's non-delivery and inability to provide network coverage or persist a connection in the very rare event that a call would actually connect for a fleeting moment through the Cell C network.
Just to put things into perspective, in case you're reading this while researching SA mobile networks or considering moving mobile operators, I've been using a Vodacom prepaid sim card for the past week in the very same Samsung Galaxy S2 handset that I'd been using on Cell C for the past two years and Vodacom actually works. I can now make and receive calls that last longer than ten seconds with the Vodacom sim card in exactly the same handset. This proves that the copious and constant issues experienced with Cell C have never been with the handset but with the actual Cell C network.
Words cannot express my joy of being FREE from CELL C... at long last!
