I'm on a 2gb data contract. 14 Aug - 1 Sep I was in Europe, so no data was really used and obviously carried over, and 8 Sep an additional 2gb allocated.
14 Sep I went for an upgrade for the 3gb MiFi device which was only active the next day. 17 Sep I cancelled the upgrade and I get a bill of R770.11 and my bill usually is R279.01?!
I e-mailed asking why and what happened and get told:
"Packet switch data charges means that you have utilized the MTN broadband 3G allocation received once your allocation has been utilized the account will be billed out of bundle rates."
I would like to know how much data I had on 8 Sep, how much data I had 14 Sep and how much data I used by 17 Sep, as it doesn't add up to me.
For the last 6 months, my average spend has been R279.01 and after I go for an upgrade I cancel 3 days later, my bill is R770.11?!
Please fix this error.
