I tried to report my own dead line and my neighbors to telkom by phoning their fault reporting line. After R75 worth of Vodacom airtime I gave up and drove to Paarl to the technical department offices in Northern Paarl where I reported it on 2nd October 2013 in the morning. My fault was only acknowledged very late that afternoon and so I am still waiting. On Monday the technical department wanted to know wither I am home to check within my home for the fault and I had to explain to them that they cannot possibly find the fault in my home as I reported 2 phones 2 houses apart. A Technician apparently installed a new line for new cust last week and fault related to that installation. Last we have heard from Telkom. And please Telkom, don't bother by sending me your usual reply that you always send to all the Hello Peter complaints. Your service stinks and you really do not care. I still have my internet but my elderly neighbor without internet and landline. My fault number: 485CWK021013 . Apparently STANDARD PRACTICE to rebate customers for rent not used??? Bulldust! I have never gotten any rebate... TILL NOW!!! I will demand it!
