Why is my line still NOT cancelled?

On 8 June 2013 I cancelled my Telkom line due to the fact that I moved into a new complex and the area had no infrastructure thus the line could not be moved. I was told that there would be a 30 day notice period and they gave me the following reference number: TOC350120080

After the notice period I received a bill for July which I paid. On 9 July 2013 I phoned Telkom to ask why I was billed and if my line was indeed cancelled. They confirmed that my notice period was done but that my line was NOT cancelled and said that someone would phone me before COB that day. No one phoned.

On 11 July I phoned again. They told me someone would get back to me again and no one did.

I've since received 3 bills to the total of R1894.63 that I refuse to pay, as I've clearly cancelled my line. I don't understand why its so difficult? I'm not going to pay for a service that I don't have!

Please clear this up immediately! And I expect a refund for the July payment that I made after the notice period. The line number in question is 011 467 6017
