I cancelled my Smart Access number and was told that there is a months notice required - no problem. But the line was cut he following day, big surprise! And now I am told by Charmaine, a supervisor at 012 311 4150 that the" law of the company" is that I will be charged for the notice period even though I am not being given service. ARE TELKOM OUT OF THEIR FREAKIN' MINDS??? The service is meant to be cut at the END of the notice period, that is why it is called NOTICE!
Fix this idiocy not just for me, but for everyone. switch the service off at the END of the notice period and charge to the end day on which the service is provided, not one day longer.
