I received my MTN bill with a charge of R202.62 (PLUS VAT) for content charge.

I called MTN to query this.

MTN told me to call Mira Networks (086 110 6472) to query this.

Myra Networks told me to call Flexibar (021 300 2831) to query this.

The Flexibar consultant said that all I can do is email you to query this. According to her I subscribed to your services (whatever they may be) on 8 August at 23:09.

I sent a query email and got a response to say that I did sign up, and I cannot get a refund.

I will not accept this. Clearly a number can be signed up with no security in place to ensure that it is the actual owner of that cell phone number that is signing up.

I did indeed get a confirmation sms from Vaaloo a while back but I get so much spam to my number that I ignored it, and seeing as I have no idea what Vaaloo I didn't connect it with something that I will get charged for.

I bet Vaaloo gets much of its income from such.

I have already contacted the Consumer Services and I will not rest until I get refunded.
