My good old friend MTN is up to its spamming game again. Nothing new. About 2 times a year I have to ask them to remove me from their spam list. I do it here on HelloPeter as to heaven forbid you try to do it via email, call centre or any other means, it is just impossible.
So, my latest pearl of spam was send by MTN on 31 Aug 2013, at 07:50 and read like this.

My anwer: Yello, is it remotely possible in your organisation to be removed from your spam list. I don't want to know about your promotions or anything, I want to be left alone. Can you please tick that box that says never in 100 years sms this person again.
And yes, I registered on the DMA website about 5 years ago already that I MUST not be spammed. You break the law, you are not allowed to spam me, by law. But we know laws in SA don't mean much, as very few people can maintain law here.
But, I ask nicely MTN, again, would you be so kind to remove me from you spam list. I would appreciate it very much.
