I purchased an internet dongle from Cell C Menlyn branch for R1999.00. Lerato was testing it in store and it did not work. She then said that it was due to the stores signal being down all day. I was then told to take it home and test it. The dongle did not work. I returned it the next day 24/09 (Heritage day) but due to the public holiday this store could not refund me and I ended up having to leave the merchandise there (after attempting to get my money back for approximately an hour) and expect an EFT the following day.
This is now 02 October, I've called 9 times and I am still no closer to receiving my refund.
This is unacceptable by any standards. Cell C has my money as well as merchandise with seemingly not intentions of paying me back, surely this is the same as.
I also have two cellphone contracts with Cell C that have brought me nothing but grief. I plan on cancelling them in this month if nothing is done right away.
