POOR PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE

I have called the Telkom call centre and have spoken to several various consultants. All who have poor product knowledge on the 10GB bundle with the new Huawei LTE CPE B593 Router.

I have tried calling several times with poor feedback given to me.

I was told in order to register a Telkom Mobile account I need to place my sim card of the LTE device in a phone in order to receive the "OTP" to finally register the account.

This seems very impractical and surely there should be a better service to register.

Additionally I was told by another consultant that this could be done on the device.

On the website they say there is a 'Dashboard"one can use.

No consultant is familiar with this.

I find myself to be a very competent individual when it comes to IT however when I am stuck I resort to call the people who offer the service to have knowledge on product instead of constantly apologising for keeping me waiting while they have to find more info.

Its terribly frustrating and I really think Telkom should perhaps better provide knowledge of product to their consultants for the consume
