CANCELLED CONTRACT

I took mobile contract with RMCS via Jet account. On 14 March 2013 I called RMCS for the contract to be terminated since it has lapsed the 24 months period. I was told all has been taken care of until last week when I wanted to port to MTN I was told by MTN personnel that the process couldn't be done as the number still registered under RMCS contract. I sent emails to [Email Removed] [Email Removed] @ 11:52am on 23 Sept 13 and I had no response thus far. This morning I was advised by Busi the RMCS personnel that contract has being cancelled but they having problems converting the number back to Pre Paid so they will try to send the number again to Vodacom for convention and MAYBE this will be resolved on Tuesday the latest. My question is couldn't this have been done since 14 Marc 2013? Hence I need Hello Peter's intervention of this matters as I need to port to MTN ASAP. Please help...
