Despicable Service

My dad took out a blackberry 9300 contract and in the first 2 months the battery swelled up and they didnt want to swap it out for me, I got a friend involved and eventually swapped it out at the provider. Now 4 months later all the buttons on this phone has worn off. When i went back to the supplier they tell me the unit is damaged and this is not their problem and they not going to even book this in. I then went to a vodashop in Cavendish and they said the very same thing. Surely this device is under warranty and when designed the unit should not wear like this under the warranty period or it should not have passed quality control. Its disgusting how they want your money when you sign up but after sales service is non existent. I can understand if the unit was out of warranty but its 7 months old and we have had nothing but excuses from vodacom. My unit was faulty within 2 months and I was well within my rights to get a new device under the CPA. I tried to resolve this reasonably but clearly I need to take more drastic measures.
