The well documented D-Link Router problem is an absolute nightmare. For the past three days I have spent hours on the telephone waiting for a service consultant and when they do answer after 20 min of waiting they are unable to assist. I have re installed and reconfigured the router and still nothing. Last night I was informed that someone dealing with the D-Link problem would urgently call me. Still waiting. All the while I am paying a monthly subscription for a service not being provided. Add to that the fact that their ignorance could have exposed many people's confidential information in the public domain. Surely, in addition to their lack of service, something could be said about their negligence and the protection that should be provided in terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act?
