Is it so difficult to have my ADSL line upgraded?

Hi,

At least 2 months ago I went into a Telkom Store and requested that my ADSL line be upgraded from 4Mb to 10MB. Since then, I have not heard from anyone at Telkom. On Monday, this week, I decided to call their 10219 number. Surprisingly, the call was answered in about 2 mins. This is when my nightmare began.
I explained to the first person that I spoke to what I wanted done. He asked me a few questions and then said he had to transfer me to the correct department. I spoke to the next person. Same thing. after speaking to about 4 people, my call disconnected. I started the whole procedure again. Finally, after speaking to another 7 people, the lady said she can help me. She took down all the details and said it would be done in 2 hours. All they had to do was make a software change on their system.

Now, another 2 days later, I am still waiting.

Now I see why people complain about Telkom so much.
