Telkom cheating us big time

Once again Telkom has soft capped our internet account. I have downloaded as little as possible over the month trying desperately to avoid the soft cap but to no avail. I downloaded today for the first time in three days and suddenly our speeds have been capped. This is nonsense. It seems that no matter when or how much I download that Telkom soft caps us at approximately the 17th or 18th of every month. They complain we download too continuously. Well now I will have to download all day and night to finish what should have taken me about four or five hours. It is now going to take me fifteen to twenty hours to complete the same amount of downloading. This is unfair and not what we are paying for. As it is I cannot download what I would like trying to avoid being penalised and even then I am penalised. Could Telkom please tell us exactly how many gig we can download in a month on the uncapped account before we are softcapped because I am at a loss to understand their system. I can find no logical way to avoid being soft capped. Please explain to me how this works. We specifically wanted fast speed to be able to download video and now we can't. What is the point of this. This!
