Where is my phone? Why don't you respond?

Seven weeks ago I applied for a contract for a Huawei Ascend P1, as advertised on the website. I have had no response as to the status of this request despite visiting the branches in the Glen and at Fourways Mall and contacting the call centre on 084 145.
I eventually sent a message via the Cell C website and received an automated response stating I should expect a reply within 24 - 72 hours. FOUR days later, I received another automated email stating that someone from the sales department within 48 hours. 141 hours later, I am yet to receive a call.
This level of service is disgusting. I have spent over R650 in airtime and petrol that would have been avoided had I been on contract within a reasonable time.
