I recently took out a new contract on an iPad through the Vodacom website. All went well... and as the website says ' orders confirmed before noon, will receive free next day delivery' That's where it starts going wrong. When i called the call centre to try and find out about my order and why it hasn't been delivered yet... I was told that they don't have stock! It gets worse... when I asked when they expected stock... i was told that they don't know as their supplier doesn't know! As far as I'm concerned that's really not an acceptable answer to my question. Will it be a day or 2... a week... or months? Who knows?? And why does the website not tell you that they don't have stock, give you a realistic expected delivery date and have a call centre or website that allows you to trace and track your delivery?? It's just very unprofessional... and has left a really bad taste in my mouth with regards to vodacom and their service.
