I phoned Telkom mobile (formally 8ta) regarding a recurring problem that they are unable to solve. When I phoned them again yesterday, after explaining 4 times to the operator what the situation was, she told me to hold on. After a while the call was simply dropped. Service is poor, and to get someone to attend to one's problem you have to go to measures like hellopeter, in order for them to call you back - no use in phoning them.
Unfortunately I'll have to wait 5 days before I can log the next complaint.
WARNING: DO NOT TAKE OUT A CONTRACT WITH TELKOM MOBILE!!
