On 2/08/2013 I requested an upgrade from ADSL to VDSL (20mb) on my Telkom line. This was after I spoke to several people at the call centre making sure that it is possible. Everybody I asked said the same thing: "Yes you can have 20mb VDSL line, it is possible." On the 5th I followed up the order and was told that it was cancelled because the "order process" followed as incorrect. They the placed a new order again telling me sorry about the inconvenience and I have to wait 48 hours again. On the 7th I phoned (48 hours later) only to be told, no nothing has been done yet. After about 8 calls later to the 10210 number and several promises that it will be done asap, I was told: "Sorry sir but your line doesn't support VDSL." When I asked why I was told that it can again "sorry sir". Then I asked to be move to the 10mb line. "No sir you cannot have a line faster than 4mb." After again 8 calls to 10210 and some other numbers they gave me and bad attitudes, I was told to request it again. Today I was told that I have been moved to a 10mb line.??? Why was I then told only 4mb? If I can then have 10mb I bet I can have 20mb, if someone is willing to do their work! Infrastructure my...
