Lackberry z10 disgust

My fiance took out a cellphone contract with Telkom mobile and wanted Blackberry z10. Along with that she also applied for a adsl line and also upgraded an existing contract which is the Samsung galaxy s4. We played with our phones to our hearts content only to discover she limited to features and apps..Skype being one of them. I read on the forums its only available to the os10.1 software and her z10 had os10 installed..now had to check for updates and wasn't available. 8 days later she got an update and managed to download skype as its used for business comms. All apps wanted and needed that are in the hundreds for my samsung, are not available to her z10. We tried to skype each other but hers just terminates. We approached the consultant Jason..very helpfull but his fingers were cut off as Telkoms contracts dept said we must pay cancellation fee..not fair. We dont have problems with the contract, just the phone as she rather wants the samsung. Blackberry advertises all features and apps but not available... yet. Why are we not informed when signing. Its like buying a new C class Mercedes but cant use the aircon, power steering and electric windows..I think its pathetic
