The nature of the cell industry has changed, no one at Vodacom has realised this and are carrying on with business as usual. As the most profitable company in the history of South Africa you would expect them to have the common sense to adapt. I do not think they know how to do business when there is fair competition, as they have pretty much been protected by government and price fixing with MTN. But Cell C has shaken the market and as someone who believes in the ideals of fair competition I have decided to move to Cell C.
My Vodacom contract expired recently, I got given a number to phone that only handles contract cancellations (0821958). It took 30 minutes of holding on before I got through to anyone (big business tactics) or they to busy cancelling contracts..hahahaha.

Vodacom Tariff R1.49 per minute (Talk 240 package)
Cell C Tariff R0.99c per second billing (prepaid) any network
This means that the chap who buys 10 bucks of air time every other day pays less and he does not have to
bind himself to a over priced contract

To anybody who takes the time to read this... support fair competition and force the greedy to realise that South Africans are not just going to bend ove
