I renewed my contract 09/03/2013. iphone5. Cable supplied stopped working 2months ago. Contacted MTN via Facebook, no joy. Called call centre, explained issue, was told to go to the store & they would sort the cable out. I tried to call the store to speak with someone before going, lines were either engaged or noone picked up. Contacted MTN on facebook again, specifically for store's email address. They responded that I must give them the store name & they will give me the store's number. I responded that I wanted an email address as stated the first time as I had the store number & could not get through. MTN Facebook never replied.
Eventually I was able to get to the store this past Sunday & was told that I would have to book in the entire phone just to get the cable sorted out. I explained there was nothing wrong with the phone, the cable is barely 4 months old & isn't working & I wanted the cable sorted out. The lady said they would not help me & I would have to purchase a new cable. I wasted my time going to the store, 808 never told me any of this & neither did MTN on facebook & I explained the problem to both. MTN Twitter askd bout problem when I tweeted but never responded!
