On 28 June, I requested that Telkom move the telephone box that is coming out of the middle of my lounge floor. I cannot just cut the cables as everyone in my complex will then be without access. A technician was despatched on 2 July who told me he could do nothing to sort out the problem and he would need to report it to the area manager to sort it out. Nothing happened and the job was closed off. I reported it again on 10 July. I was promised it would be escalated. No technician came. Nothing was done and the job closed off. I reported it again on 12 July and promised it would be sorted. No technician as yet. I called again this afternoon to find out the progress - no technician has been assigned as yet despite this being the third request. I asked for it to be escalated. I then got put through to someone who said they'd call me back in 15 minutes. Have they? Of course not.
