Feeling robbed and mislead by mtn Sa

Roaming in UK and used phone minimal times on exception to SMS and make calls, not more than 5 times and for short periods.( less than 5 min). Got SMS from mtn that 70% calls and SMS/data will be on discounted rates. Bought UK Sim and used it throughout for calls, SMS and data which was limited. I also switched voicemail on mtn sim off to avoid billing associated with it. I return an get told I owe 7k??? I queried this will billing and still have no answers. New billing comes in for 22 June - 5 July I get told I now owe 9.5k? For those days..this is nuts. I have a work mobile which is use and work iPad so-this does not make sense... I suspect foul play and am now sick of the billing practices from MTN.

I have previously been paying an average of R1.5 per month for about 11 years on the talk 1000 and the last 18 months have been unreasonable and I feel robbed and cheated by a company I have been loyal to for years and considering moving to competitor. No one ever explains the detail behind billing etc, now I feel I have been mislead and get told its data charges... I am sick and tired on MTN and now have to pay grossly high charges no one can explain satisfactorily. I want out!!
