To whom it may concern
I contacted the Telkom call centre today after hearing about the discount special when taking out a 12 month contract. The first lady I spoke to indicated that the special could be taken out by anyone including someone who wished to have a line installed. I said I have a line that has just been installed with Telkom Simple and she said great let me transfer you to the department who can do this for you. On speaking to the next lady she asked some questions, confirmed my details and then said that I have to have had an account for 3 months before taking said special. I think this is highly unfair considering someone taken out a new line can get it and nothing was mentioned during my first enquiry about a 3 month waiting period.
Please advise.
