UTTERLY DISGUSTED

I AM UTTERLY DISGUSTED AT THE MANNER IN WHICH TELKOM HAS TREATED ME IN THE LAST 3-4 MONTHS. I REPORTED A FAULT IN MARCH 2013. A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER I RECEIVED AN SMS STATING THAT MY TELKOM LINE CANNOT BE FIXED AS THERE HAVE BEEN NUMEROUS LINES IN OUR AREA. I WAS ALSO INFORMED THAT I WILL BE RECEIVING A LETTER WITH THE VARIOUS OPTIONS AVAILABLE TO ME. TO DATE I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANYTHING. TODAY I CALLED TELKOM FAULTS AGAIN TO FIND OUT THE PROGRESS OF THAT LETTER AND I SPOKE TO SBONGILE WHO ADVISED ME OF THE OTHER OPTION OF A WIRELESS LINE. SHE WAS NOT SURE OF THE COSTS INVOLVED WITH THIS OPTION SO THEN SHE TRANSFERED ME TO ANOTHER CONSULTANT (TEBOGO) WHO ADVISE THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY R350 AND ANOTHER R199. I WAS ALSO ADVISED THAT I COULD NOT KEEP MY NUMBER. EXPLAINED A WHOLE TIDEOUS PROCESS OF OBTAINING MY LINE. MY COMPLAINT IS MERELY ABOUT THE FACT TAHT I HAVE NOT BEEN COMMUNICATED WITH, IT HAS TO TAKE ME TO CALL AND FIND OUT WHAT YOU NEED TO TELL ME. I ALSO DO NOT SEE THE FAIRNESS IN ME PAYING FOR A FAULT THAT I HAVE NPT CAUSED. I AM A PAYING CUSTOMER AND IF ANOTHER OPTION IS ME PAYING THEN I FEEL TELKOM SHOULD BE LIABLE FOR THAT. I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO KEEP MY NUMBER.
