While waiting for emergency SMS from a family member, I receive a RICA spam message at 06h00 in the morning from 0767962868. Must call 0781060291. Why can Vodacom not put decent filtering in place as MTN did? Vodacom must stop spewing hype and nonsense excuses about this. Vodacom must stop lying and do something proactive, instead of wriggling themselves out of the responsibility to actively combat this SPAM nonsense. Including the ones where send you SMSs teeling you to reply STOP if you want to opt out of something you never wanted in the first place. Technically, Vodacom has no excuse, despite their lame about it. I have drastically cut down on my Vodacom usage because of this and am using another provider for my daily needs because of this. Just keeping Vodacom as a standby for people who do not yet have my new number, but I'm definitely cutting up this Vodacom SIM card now and dumping it.
